We realize that visiting a new church can sometimes be a little scary! Here’s a short description of what you can expect in a Sunday morning service at First Baptist Church.

We believe that our weekly gathering is for the purpose of worshiping God, so our Sunday worship service is all about Him! We read the Bible and pray several times in our service. We sing songs that express our praise and thanks to God for who He is and what He has done for us. Our music is traditional, meaning we sing our songs from the hymn book, and they are typically led by a song leader and accompanied by the piano.

There is a time for us to greet each other warmly and meet new people. There is an offering time for us to give to God’s work in the world through the local church and missions. Our pastor will preach from the King James Bible to instruct and encourage us in our faith. Also, once a month, we celebrate The Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month. 

We love children! We have a nursery available for small children ages 0-3. We provide children’s church during the sermon time for parents who desire to send their children. We also we provide family devotion resources to help dads and moms disciple their children at home. 

Our Sunday morning service typically lasts 60-90 minutes. We would love to see you this coming Sunday!
